An event encouraging children to bring along a parent, grandparent or other adult caregiver and explore the world of creative technology together.

SPRING FORWARD FESTIVAL
A unique event that has sold out every year at this celebration of Women in Digital Culture.
Girls and their mothers (or other female adult mentors) take part in creative technology workshops including Minecraft EDU, Lego robotics and stop-motion animation.

COMMUNITY AWARD WINNER
BRITISH SCIENCE WEEK
Designed alongside local chocolatiers CocoaMonkey, students learned about the history of chocolate along with the chemistry of its production, including crystal formation and tempering. Plus, they made their own chocolate confections!
Music makers with sonic pi
GRASSROOTS AWARD WINNER
BRIGHTON DIGITAL FESTIVAL
Developed alongside music technologist Rosa Fox, these workshops provided young people with an introduction to coding with Sonic Pi and digital music composition.
The resulting tracks were entered as part of the students' national Arts Awards.
GIRLS IMAGINEER THE FUTURE
UNIVERSITY OF BRIGHTON
INTERNATIONAL WOMEN IN ENGINEERING DAY
Girls were invited to attend workshops featuring robotics, computer game development, digital music, animation and engineering challenges. They also had the chance to meet local women working in the engineering industry and explore potential career paths.

Enabling children's participation in a virtual palaeontology dig, these workshops held at the Booth Museum of Natural History also integrated the handling of artefacts from the museum's fossil collection.
